Released in celebration of the choir’s 20th anniversary, The Present Time features modern settings of texts by William Shakespeare, including music by Ralph Vaughan Williams and William Mathias, George Shearing’s Songs and Sonnets, as well as the premiere recordings of Derek Holman’s The Present Time and Andrew Ager’s Sonnet 105. With pianist Robert Kortgaard and bassist Neil Swainson.
