Until university, the singing experience of VIVIAN MOENS, soprano, consisted of humming English ballads while doing the chores. Convinced by a friend to join a student choir, she was filled with wonder and delight when the choir was asked to build a simple major chord: she has never lost that first thrill of the joining of human voices and has never since been without a choir. She has sung with the Orpheus Choir of Toronto, the Toronto Camerata, the Toronto Chamber Choir, and the Amadeus Choir, and has studied voice privately with Teri Dunn since 1999. Vivian has been a part-time employee of the CBC for over a decade; she currently works on the Digital Archives project (cbc.ca/archives). She balances this with a job at home, where she shares the raising of her three merry men with her husband, Matt O’Gorman.

TRACY MONTGOMERY, soprano, raised on the shores of Lake Couchiching, graduated from Trinity College, University of Toronto, in Political Science, and completed her Master’s of Letters in Terrorism and Security at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. Tracy has been active musically all her life and has been involved in many solo, choir, and theatre performances over the past few years. She has her Grade 10 Piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music, and has sung with several choirs, including the Hart House Chorus, Orpheus Choir, Tallis Choir, Madrigal and Renaissance Choirs overseas, and subs at various churches throughout Toronto. By day, Tracy is a security advisor for the Royal Bank of Canada.

MEGHAN ROBERTS, soprano, has enjoyed an enriching musical experience since moving to Toronto to attend the University of Toronto, where she earned a Bachelor of Music Education (voice major) and Bachelor of Science (psychology major). One of the best decisions she made while at university was to join the Hart House Chorus, directed by John Tuttle, which led to wonderful singing opportunities with him as soprano lead in the choir of Saint Thomas's Church and as a member of Exultate. She has also sung with the MacMillan Singers, the Ontario Youth Choir (2000), the Arbor Oak Trio, the Elmer Iseler Singers, the Elora Festival Singers and is currently a member of the Tafelmusik Chamber Choir. By day, Meghan is pursuing an MBA in Arts and Media Administration from the Schulich School of Business.

PAULINE ROSENBAUM, alto, has been singing in choirs since the age of 11. She fondly traces her choral life from its humble beginnings in the Hamilton Children’s Choir through high school and university choirs, and is now thrilled to find herself singing alongside the outstanding musicians in Exultate. She particularly thanks John Tuttle for his wonderful leadership and musicianship with Exultate and the Hart House Chorus. Pauline spends her days as a research lawyer and usually hums harmonies as she reads cases.

MICHAEL ROWLAND, tenor, has been singing with Exultate since 1989. He sang with John Tuttle at St. Paul's Anglican Church  prior to joining Exultate and received his informal training in choral singing as a boy in Montreal. Michael is a partner in The Randolph Group, a management consulting firm helping public and not-for-profit clients with issues of governance, strategy and organization. Michael, his wife Lydia, and daughter Madeline enjoy the artistic talents and company of the many friends they have made through Exultate over the years.
